H Ελληνοαμερικανική Ένωση και οι Εκδόσεις Μεταίχμιο προσκαλούν τους μικρούς
τους φίλους σε χριστουγεννιάτικη εκδήλωση με αφορμή το νέο βιβλίο
της Μαριέττας Κόντου Αγιοβασιλέματα.
Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιείται online μέσω Zoom την Κυριακή 13 Δεκεμβρίου
2020, στις 12:00 και η πρόσβαση είναι ελεύθερη (με προεγγραφές) για τους
νεαρούς βιβλιόφιλους.
Τα «Αγιοβασιλέματα» είναι το νέο βιβλίο της Μαριέττας Κόντου, που
κυκλοφόρησε πρόσφατα από τις Εκδόσεις Μεταίχμιο σε εικονογράφηση Βασίλη
Κουτσογιάννη. Η ηρωίδα του βιβλίου, η Ερμιόνη, έγραψε ένα γράμμα στον Αϊ-
Βασίλη, του ζητούσε να μην έρθει και έκλεινε με μια υπόσχεση. Πού να ‘ξερε η
Ερμιόνη πως αυτό θα ήταν η αρχή ενός ταξιδιού που θα της έμενε αξέχαστο! Εκεί
που τα ρολόγια μετρούν τις ώρες τεμπέλικα, ενώ τα αηδόνια, οι ελέφαντες, τα
ποντίκια, οι κούκλες και οι χιονάνθρωποι μιλούν ανθρώπινα και περιμένουν κι αυτά
τον Αϊ-Βασίλη.
Η Μαριέττα Κόντου γεννήθηκε καλοκαίρι του ’72 στην Αθήνα και είναι ακόμη πολύ
κοντά στο «τότε»… Ανήκει στη γενιά της «Αθλητικής Κυριακής», του Carnation,
του «Λόλα, να ένα μήλο», του φυτολόγιου, των λευκωμάτων με τις αφιερώσεις,
των εικόνων της Sarah Kay και των βιβλίων της Πηνελόπης Δέλτα, της Άλκης Ζέη
και της Ζωρζ Σαρή. Θυμάται ακόμη την ασπρόμαυρη τηλεόραση, τις ελληνικές
ταινίες του Σαββατοκύριακου και το Θέατρο της Δευτέρας. Έζησε τις δασείες, τις
οξείες, τις περισπωμένες και τις σχολικές ποδιές. Σπούδασε Ψυχολογία στο
Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και έκανε το μεταπτυχιακό της στη Συστημική Θεραπεία
Ζεύγους και Οικογένειας και το διδακτορικό της στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο. Το
παραδοσιακό της παραμύθι Τα λευκά φτερά της Κορακίνας τιμήθηκε με εύφημη
μνεία το 2014 από τη Γυναικεία Λογοτεχνική Συντροφιά.
