Η ΣΟΦΙΑ ΣΑΚΕΛΛΑΡΙΟΥ γεννήθηκε και ζει στην Αθήνα. Είκοσι χρόνια εργάστηκε στη σύνταξη ειδήσεων και στο ρεπορτάζ, σε εφημερίδες και ραδιόφωνα της Αθήνας ( μέλος της ΕΣΗΕΑ). Από το 2005 ασχολείται αποκλειστικά με τη διόρθωση και την επιμέλεια βιβλίων.
Έχει εκδώσει τις ποιητικές συλλογές Φωτογραφίες ( 2015), Ζωογραφίες ( 2016, υποψήφια για το Βραβείο του Κύκλου των Ποιητών) και Υπάρχει γράμμα για μένα ; (2018), και τις τρεις στις εκδόσεις Μελάνι.
