Στη μεγάλη γιορτή του βιβλίου, τη 17η Διεθνή Έκθεση Βιβλίου Θεσσαλονίκης, η οποία πραγματοποιείται διαδικτυακά, συμμετέχει και φέτος το Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης, με μια online συζήτηση με τίτλο «Προφητείες από έναν άλλο κόσμο». Η συζήτηση θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 22 Νοεμβρίου στις 14:30.
Με αφορμή τις ειδικές εκδόσεις του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης και το αφιέρωμα «Προφητείες από έναν άλλο κόσμο: Sci-fi και Cli-fi (1950 – 1990)» που διοργάνωσε το 61ο ΦΚΘ, ο Ορέστης Ανδρεαδάκης (διευθυντής Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης), ο Αριστείδης Αντονάς (αρχιτέκτων, συγγραφέας), ο Νικήτας Σινιόσογλου (συγγραφέας, εντεταλμένος ερευνητής στο Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών) και η Συραγώ Τσιάρα (ιστορικός τέχνης, αναπληρώτρια διευθύντρια MOMus-Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης-Συλλογές Μακεδονικού Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης και Κρατικού Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης) θα συνομιλήσουν για τη λογοτεχνία, την τέχνη, τον κινηματογράφο και την πανδημία.
Οι συνομιλητές θα εξετάσουν το πώς, πλάι στη λογοτεχνία, το σινεμά του φανταστικού, οι εικαστικές τέχνες και η καλλιτεχνική πρωτοπορία αφουγκράστηκαν τις βασικές προκλήσεις της εποχής μας, την κλιματική αλλαγή και την πανδημία.
Ταυτόχρονα, θα συζητηθεί το πώς το Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης προσέγγισε αυτά τα θέματα στο πρόγραμμά του και στις πρόσφατες ειδικές εκδόσεις του (Α-Κατάλογοι, Ανθρωπόκαινος, Επιστημονική Φαντασία). Ο Ορέστης Ανδρεαδάκης θα παρουσιάσει, επίσης, το νέο στίγμα των εκδόσεων του ΦΚΘ.
Η συζήτηση εντάσσεται στη θεματική της ΔΕΒΘ με τίτλο «Ο πλανήτης σε πανδημία και ο ιός της γραφής» και θα μεταδοθεί ζωντανά από την ιστοσελίδα της 17ης ΔΕΒΘ www.thessalonikibookfair.gr.
