Πώς επιλέξατε να γίνετε ηθοποιός; Ποιό ήταν το έναυσμα που σας ώθησε να ασχοληθείτε με την τέχνη της υποκριτικής;
Δεν μπορώ να εντοπίσω ακριβώς την αρχή. Δεν επέλεξα συνειδητά να γίνω ηθοποιός. Ήταν μια ανάγκη που υπήρχε μέσα μου και κάποια στιγμή, μεγαλώνοντας, εκφράστηκε.
Τί σημαίνει για εσάς το θέατρο;
Το θέατρο είναι ελευθερία. Είναι η δυνατότητα να δημιουργείς κόσμους από την αρχή. Ταυτόχρονα, το θέατρο εμπεριέχει πολλές δυσκολίες, κυρίως επαγγελματικά. Ακόμα, δεν έχω αποφασίσει τόσο τι σημαίνει για εμένα, είναι ρευστή η σχέση μας, ξέρω όμως πως το θέλω στη ζωή μου.
Αυτήν την περίοδο συμμετέχετε στην παράσταση “Το Πρόβατο”. Πώς προέκυψε η θεατρική συνεργασία με την ομάδα Νοκ Άουτ και τί σας έκανε να απαντήσετε θετικά σε αυτόν τον ρόλο;
Είχα δει την ανακοίνωση της ακρόασης, έστειλα βιογραφικό και με πήρε τηλέφωνο ο σκηνοθέτης μας, Θοδωρής Τούμπανος. Χαίρομαι γι αυτή τη δουλειά γιατί μου άρεσε εξαρχής το κείμενο και η ομάδα, ήταν το κερασάκι στην τούρτα, γιατί είναι πολύ καλοί συνεργάτες.
Ποιός είναι ο χαρακτήρας που υποδύεστε σε αυτήν την παράσταση; Υπάρχουν στοιχεία που θα αναγνωρίζατε και στον εαυτό σας;
Στο έργο υποδύομαι την Μαρία, την αδελφή του παπά, η οποία έχει σχεδόν μεγαλώσει μέσα στο επαρχιακό χάνι της ιστορίας. Η Μαρία, είναι ένα νέο κορίτσι που προσπαθεί να τα βγάλει πέρα σε ένα αντίξοο περιβάλλον. Ως κοινό στοιχείο μας θα έλεγα πως δεν μας αρέσει η αδικία. Τα υπόλοιπα θα τα μάθετε στην παράσταση…
Τί έχει μεγαλύτερη σημασία για εσάς, η κριτική ή το χειροκρότημα;
Και τα δύο. Η δουλειά που κάνουμε είναι πολύ σκληρή γιατί κρίνεσαι συνεχώς, και το κοινό θα καταλάβει πότε πας να το κοροϊδέψεις.
Θέλω η κριτική να είναι εποικοδομητική και το χειροκρότημα ειλικρινές.
Έτσι γινόμαστε καλύτεροι και ξέρουμε πότε τα πράγματα λειτούργησαν.
Υπάρχει κάποιος θεατρικός ρόλος που ονειρεύεστε να υποδυθείτε στο μέλλον και γιατί;
Ουυυ, πολλοί! Δεν είναι όμως τόσο οι ρόλοι που ονειρεύομαι να υποδυθώ, όσο ευελπιστώ σε καλές συνεργασίες.
